First-Aid, CPR and AED Certification Course
Participants will receive a student workbook to use during the class and is theirs to keep.
Upon completion, each person will receive a certificate of completion that is valid for two years.
Here is a rundown of what to expect.
First Aid Only training covers the basics on the following topics and takes around 3 hours plus time for breaks.
Acting in an Emergency
Preventing disease transmission
Checking the victim
Recovery Position
Bleeding and wound care
Shock
Burns
Bone, Joint, and Muscle injuries
Head and spine injuries
Sudden illness
Poisoning and Allergic Reactions
Cold and Heat Emergencies
Rescuing and Moving Victims
CPR/AED Only training covers only the following topics and takes around 2 hours plus time for a break.
Acting in an Emergency
Preventing disease transmission
Checking the victim
Recovery Position
CPR
AED
Chocking
First Aid, CPR and AED combined training covers all of the above topics and takes around 5 hours plus time for breaks and lunch.
